Hi!

I have 2 sites connected via an black box isp vpn and a would like to backup with an isa2isa vpn. I’m thinking about something like this:

site 1 / 192.168.101.0/24
----------------------
isa nic 1: lan (192.168.101.0/24)
isa nic 2: Internet (local xDSL connection)
isa nic 3: black box isp vpn to site 2 (192.168.250.1)

site 2 / 192.168.100.0/24
----------------------
isa nic 1: lan (192.168.100.0/24)
isa nic 2: Internet (local xDSL connection)
isa nic 3: black box isp vpn to site 1 (192.168.250.2)

Can I create an isa2isa vpn with a higher route metric then the black box vpn in a layout like this to get a failover?

I read http://www.isaserver.org/articles/2004netinnet.html and im not sure how to apply it… will a higher metric change anything?

Regards
Snoj
