I'm new to the ISA product. I just stood-up a 2004 ISA used solely for OWA. I would like to change the OWA login screen to something a little more company specific and get rid of the radio buttons below the login. I cannot locate the source files for this. Can anyone help?

Also, I would like to do the same to the 40x type error pages...if they are not located in the same area, can someone please tell me where those are?

Thanks in advance!
Phil

Take a look to the IIS server properties (OWA website) and you will find everything here, like location of the default files/directory and default error pages files.

Isn't the login page on the ISA box? <since I have https there and then http to the Exchange box>?

Wouldn't that also mean the error pages are on that server since, if they fail to authenticate the ISA box would reject them?

Thanks,
Phil

Well I guess you have published the OWA server within the ISA server firewall rules to give access to web mail.
So the logon box of Outlook Web Access is located on the Exchange server, not the ISA server.
ISA itself is not a web service (http) like IIS running on the Exchange server is since you have installed OWA.

So yes all the auth. web pages are on the Exchange server like the 4xx.htm error files are.
Just go to your IIS OWA website properties, you will see several tabs such as "Custom errors" where you will see the location of the error pages.
If you go to the "Documents" tab, you will see the name of the web page that you see when you are connecting to the OWA service and then the "Home directory" tab will give you the location of the OWA htm/asp files.

Ok...thanks. I guess I was thinking incorrectly on this...I just figured you have to authenticate in ISA before getting to Exchange/OWA. Thanks for the help!

Hi Phil,

This can be done, I have modfied the OWA login files located on the ISA server under program files to be used with Lotus Notes.
I will update you in the morning with the exact location unless someone who has an ISA server to hand can point you to the correct location.

Morning,

The default location for the source files for ISA's OWA logon page are located in :

C:\Program Files\Microsoft ISA Server\CookieAuthTemplates\

These templates can be changed to reflect your requirement.
