"Dialing" gatekeeper phone number question - 17.Apr.2004 4:33:00 PM

I have read all of the articles about using netmeeting with Microsoft ISA Server. I have a Tandberg 550 sitting on a private network behind a MS ISA Server. That server has a public IP address. I have a polycom unit sitting at a local college that has a public IP address and is sitting behind a firewall (no ISA server).

I am going to set my ISA server to allow incoming H.323 connections and setup the gatekeeper. I assume that my Tandberg 550 (behind the ISA server) will use the ISA server internal IP address as its gatekeeper address and then the e.164 alias will be a "phone number". I should then be able to have an external netmeeting client with the gateway set to the public address of my ISA server dial the e.164 alias and connect to the Tandberg.

My question is ... how do I configure the external Polycom unit to dial in? I don't have the same gateway option as I have in netmeeting.

Thank you in advance for any advice given. I don't want to tell my IT group what to do until I am sure that I have the right configuration.

Jody
