Sorry for a long mail.

We have a set-up where an iPhone can do exchange active sync via a reverse proxy server on DMZ zone to an ISA server then to exchange. ISA and Exchange are on LAN.
Generally, here how it works
1. iPhone configured active sync exchange.domain.net using SSL
2. Proxy server forward request to isa server 2006
3. Isa has a Publish Exchange Web Client Access to exchange server 2003
The listener on ISA server:
- In the 'Client Connection Security' pane, select 'Do not require SSL secured…'
- In the 'Web Listener IP Addresses' pane, select 'All Networks (and local Host)', uncheck 'ISA Server will .... compression'
- In the 'Authentication Settings' pane, select 'HTML Form Authentication' and use “Windows Active Directory”
- On Single Sign On .domain.net
Form Based authentication is disabled on Exchange server.

This set-up is working fine for our iPhone Users. Emails and calendars are syncing properly. But OWA is not. We do not need it before, so we just ignore it. But now we need it, for Blackbery BIS.

when accessed OWA https://exchange.domain.net/exchange (site will be
changed to http://exchange.domain.net/CookieAuth.dll?GetLogon?

with error:
503 Service Unavailable
The service is not available. Please try again later.

I've been searching for this for quite sometime. I cannot find how to reolve. Please help.

Thanks in advance!

That sounds like an Exchange error, not ISA...

You can set up ISA 2006 to use FBA on the ISA with BIS. I have answered this and explained how to set it up here and verfied by a second source http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/BlackBerry-Internet-Service/BIS-ISA-2006-OWA/td-p/296761/page/4
