dear all,
i have this problem and have no idea on how to solve :
"4006 smtpsvc event id" on 2003 server with ISA 2004 . Can someone tell me why this is happening. our server cannot send or receive same email to same domains but to others can. I´m using inbound SMTP filtering relay and SMTP Message Screener

Message delivery to the host '64.59.128.220' failed while delivering to the remote domain 'shawcable.net' for the following reason: The remote server did not respond to a connection attempt.

Message delivery to the host '194.135.30.47' failed while delivering to the remote domain 'baku.az' for the following reason: The remote server did not respond to a connection attempt.

Hi R,

Sounds like the remote server is offline.

You really need some packet traces to figure out what the problem is here.
