Go into the ISA console and select the Monitoring node on the left. Then go to the Alerts tab. On the Tasks tab, select 'Confgure Alert Definitions' and find the entry for Log Failure. Go to the Actions tab and clear the check ox for "Stop selected services'. If you really want to do this, then you should configure the Alert to send an email so that you're aware of the Logging failure.

You can move the log files to another location by editing the logging options and selecting a another location than the default "ISALogs" folder.

Hi, This is your lucky day , 3 moderators answering you ! quote:
can move ISALOG from C:\Program Files\Microsoft ISA Server\ISALogs\ To another Drive Check the following : quote:
Q.Can logs be saved in an alternate location? A. By default, ISA Server log files in a file format or MSDE 2000 format are saved in the ISALogs folder of the ISA Server installation folder. You can specify an alternative log file location, including an environment variable such as %logDirectory%. If the specified folder does not exist, ISA Server will warn you that the specified location is not valid and will try to create the folder. For any alternative logging folder, the Network Service must have read permissions from the root partition and any parent folder for the folder. On the logging folder itself, the following permissions are required: •Network Service: Full Control •System: Full Control •Administrators: Full Control If you change the log folder location and do not set the correct permissions, the following error event may be issued in the Event Viewer: •Event ID 11002: Microsoft Firewall failed to start. The failure occurred during creation of logging module because the configuration property PropertyName is not valid. But quote:
I'wonder to know My Isa server allways Down if ISALOG is Full Why not reconfigure your logging Options, so that logs file are not stored more than x days, and not bigger than y GB in size. You can configure these options under Monitoring > Logging > from the right panel : Configure Firewall Logging & Configure Web Proxy Logging Options. HTH, Tarek
