We develop an ISA Web Filter plug in (based on ISAPI). This web filter (plugged on the ISA web proxy) is in charge to authenticate users using an external authentication server.
Everything is working fine with HTTP because we can read the content of the request (URL server variable) and send back to the user the web authentication form.
But when we use HTTPS, we cannot anymore read the complete URL (we just read web_server_name:ssl_port_number) and we cannot send back the web authentication form. The ISA error is a "Failed connection attempt" for SSL-tunnel protocol.
Can we access to the request by configuring ISA (our current ISA configuration is the one used for the MyAuth web filter) or by using an API?

Just stumbled on this doing a google search. For anyone with a similar question:
For publishing, if you terminate and bridge SSL at ISA, then your web filters can work normally.

The only way to make it work on access rules (forward proxy) is to use ClearTunnel to bridge the SSL.
