I am quite perplexed by this 12206 proxy chain loop error on isa. Details:

ISA LAN WIC
IP Address: 172.16.0.1
Subnet: 255.255.254.0
Default Gateway: NONE
DNS1: 172.16.0.10 (Internal DNS server)
DNS2: 172.16.0.11 (Internal DNS server)

ISA WAN WIC
IP Address: x.x.x.x
Subnet: x.x.x.x
Default Gateway: x.x.x.x
DNS1: None
DNS2: None

Mail server IP: 172.16.0.40
Subnet: 255.255.254.0
Default Gateway: 172.16.0.1
DNS1: 172.16.0.10
DNS2: 172.16.0.11

Straight forward setup here. Published OWA on ISA. Seems to run for 2 days, then 12206 Proxy Chain Loop error. Problem is solved again by restarting Web Proxy service, problem re-occurs again every couple days. IÆve grown frustrated by having to re-start this service for the last several years and IÆd like to find the cause. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If you need any more detail let me know,
