hi,
my actual config is is2004 & msx2k3, running owa with form-based-auth. everything works fine. i want know if it is possible to extend the authentication with a second way directly at the isa box (i.e. rsa, radius, etc.), so the user should be promted with a seperate logon. after that is successfull, he/she is redirected to the fba logon page. i have already a solution with a modificated fba with a rsa solution. but my customer wants two independent authentication schemas on different boxes.
thanks for ideas steffan

Hi Steffan,
You can turn off FBA on the ISA firewall and use FBA at the Exchange Site. Then require authentication at the ISA firewall. That way, you have auth at the firewall and at the Exchange site, and the auth at the Exchange site is only requested after the user auths with the ISA firewall.
HTH, Tom

Would this work with radius as ISA authentication scheme?? And with require authentication at the ISA firewall do you mean "require all users to authenticate"?? Last question, is this possible to do this on a unihomed server?? Regards Patrik
