I have followed the2004dmzfebe arcticle up to the point where im installing exchange 2003 on the FE.....and the below error occurs....i can ping/browse to BE and DC.......So help would be nice

- Setup encountered an error while trying to contact the Windows Active Directory: The erorr was: - Failed to look up the windows site to which this computer and the DC belongs.Verify this machine and the DC designated as the schema master use the same prefferred DNS server.

- they both use the same dns server and it was successfully joined to the domain....hence AD can be contacted.

You will need to add the FE DMZ subnet to the Active Directory site that contains the BE and DC.

Exchange is very dependent on correct site configuration...
