Hiya,

I've just finished installing/configuring my 3-server array (1 CSS + 2 array members). Only problem so far is that the CSS server is complaining that it can communicate with the 2 array members (getting the red error just above where the Customer Experience thingy appears). When I go to Monitoring and then Services, it shows that all services on the 2 array members are 'unavailable'.

However, the 2 array members can communicate with eacher and with the CSS server itself, and making a change on one array member 'copies' to the other.

I have configured the Local Configuration Storage managed computers system policy to include the 2 arrays members.

I have also configured NLB through ISA, but was getting this error before configuring NLB.

If I reboot the CSS server, it shows that everthing is OK. Then a couple of minutes later, it goes back to saying it can't communicate with the array members.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Hi,

Could you clarify?

- Is the CSS configured as an array member too?

- Are all the servers part of the same AD domain or is this a workgroup set up?

Thanks

Ian

Don't worry, I got the answers to my questions from your other post.

The Local Configuration Storage Server Access system policy group is only used when an array member also hosts the CSS.  Disable this and, instead, make sure the Remote Configuration Storage Server Access group is enabled.

Next, make sure the CCS computer from which you are managing the enterprise is a member of either the Remote Management Computers or Enterprise Management Computers computer set.

Hope this helps.

Ian
