I have two ISA 2004 appliances (HP models) that perform quite well, connected to two different ISPs.

We need a way to rapidly change the ISA Server used for any given PC client very quickly - by which I mean we may need to change 300 machines from one ISA server to the other - and hopefully within five to 10 minutes.

I can't find a script for that anywhere (yet) and also had no luck finding any Active Directory settings for ISA.

I'm open to ideas - thanks in advance.

Hi,

1. Are you trying to attain fault tolerance? If yes, ISA does not support multiple gateway.

2. If you just want to migrate to another ISA, just point the clients gateway to ISA and you will have SecureNAT or Set Web Proxy on your Client's browser and you will have a Web Proxy or Install a Firewall client on your workstations and you will have Firewall Client. You can also have a look on WPAD to proxy autodiscovery, this can be attain from DHCP or DNS
