I have a website that is entirely SSL.  The certificate is issued for www.sample.com.
If I want to use just sample.com that certificate won’t work.  (of course the certificate holder say that I would need two valid certs, www.sample.com and sample.com)  I have the certificate on ISA so if I put a redirect in IIS but that does not work because it hit ISA before IIS.  I also tried doing a redirect rule for sample.com to www.sample.com and that did not seem to work.  Is there a simple way in ISA 2006 to revert sample.com to www.sample.com before it hits the Certificate?  Is this the correct path? http://www.msexchange.org/articles_tutorials/exchange-server-2007/mobility-client-access/publishing-exchange-client-access-isa-2006-complete-solution-part3.html

You could get a "wildcard" cert, which would work for *.sample.com, but these generally don't have the guarantees associated with individual site certs. This makes them OK for general authentication, but not for e-commerce.
