Hello All;
I have a question thats been proposed that I'm trying to find the answer for.

I currently have a 3-leg setup (Internet/DMZ/Priv. Network)

I currently publish my website from the DMZ, OWA from the Priv. Network along with a mapping server on the Priv. Network.

I've been asked to 'publish' another internal server (on the priv. net) however I have to have  a "Reverse Proxy" involed (part of the new servers requirements).

Do I have to do anything with the new internal server to achieve the reverse proxy role, without interferring with the other 'puplished' servers.   I read on another thread that you can have the same ISA server perform in as a 'Web Proxy' along with it being a "Reverse Proxy' also; howerver, I can't find an article that explains the process.

Anyone have any resources they can point me to?

Thanks;
Ranweb

David,

That's what I thought!   For a confirmation, doesn't the actual process of 'web posting' perform the role of the 'reverse proxy'?????

Thoughts?

As far as ISA web publishing goes, "reverse proxying" would be one in the same. Other than that, publishing considerations will need to be made when adding the other internal server so as not to conflict with current published servers. Such as authentication, encryption needs, public IP addressing, etc...
