With ISA 2000 I have installed Symantec's SMTP gateway. This is basically an SMTP filter which cleans and forwards all SMTP traffic to my internal E2K3 server.

To allow this all I had to do was set up a packet filter for port 25.

I have been poking around ISA 2004 and there deos not seem to be a packet filter option. Is it as easy as "Publishing" the ISA server with SMTP?

Thanks,
Bob

Hi Bob,

You can publish, or you can create an access rule that allows External outbound access to Local Host TCP 25.

HTH,
Tom
