Hello,

Congratulations, excellent resource for ISA Server...

My problem is: When attempt to authenticate in OWA from the external network receipt an error "Error Code: 403 Forbidden. The server denied the specified Uniform Resource Locator (URL). Contact the server administrator. (12202)."

The configuration is:

External domain name for OWA: owa.domain.com
Internal domain name for OWA: owa.domain.com
SSL certificate for owa: owa.domain.com

Server1
dc1.domain.local (Exchange Server 2003)
- Secure NAT client
- 192.168.10.200
- IIS Host header is (owa.domain.com)
- Installed certificate SSL (owa.domain.com)
- Split DNS it works correctly for internal users

Internally the users can work correctly with OWA using external name DNS (https://owa.midomain.com/ map to 192.168.10.200).

Server2
isa.domain.local (ISA Server 2004)
- Internal interface (192.168.10.215)
- External interface (201.248.x.y) DSL/DHCP
- Import and Installed the SSL certificate (owa.domain.com)
- Public name in the Publishing rule is (owa.domain.com, my actual pingable FQDN)
- Tab "TO:" of the Web publishing Rule is (owa.domain.com)
- The common name/subject name the certificate is (owa.domain.com)
- The entry in HOST archive is 192.168.10.200 owa.domain.com
- ISA can correctly resolve DNS from dc1.domain.local

All the other services are working correctly...

I have solved the problem. [Big Grin]

�Important!
Exchange Server 2003 provides an option of enabling forms-based authentication. Do not select that option, because it will not work with ISA Server mail publishing rules. Forms-based authentication should be configured on the ISA Server computer.

I have the same symptoms you list above, but "Enable Forms Based Authentication" is NOT checked at my server (under server/protocols/http/exchange virtual server/properties)

Anyone else have some ideas?
