407 error - authentication

Status: offline 		I receive the following error when I attempt to perform certain functions on
a secure site;

HTTP/1.1 407 Proxy Authentication Required ( The ISA server requires
authorization to fulfill the request. Access to the Web Proxy service is
denied. )
The browser is IE 5 and 5.5. The ISA server is part of our Windows2000
domain. It is a proxy and firewall.

The users are able to browse on the Internet in general. There are no rules
or poilicies blocking this.

In general what should I begin to look to when I get the error referenceed
above.

Status: offline 		Hi Adagost,

Check the settings on the outgoing web requests listener. Also check Site and Content Rules to see if any access controls have been placed.
