Please help, this has been driving me crazy the past couple of days. Bringing up a new Exchange 2003 server on Windows 2003 with publishing owa on ISA 2000 using Shnider's excellent article: Unihomed Web Cache Mode ISA Server. Everything looks setup correctly with regards to DNS and ISA config. It is a mirror image of what we already have setup with our live mail/isa server using a seperate certificate and owa address (of course). Now when browsing to external https://webmail.domain.com/exchange (name of cert matches) for the new site I am getting a 500 Internal Server Error - The network logon failed. (1790) Internet Security and Acceleration Server. I am able to hit the page internally fine over https using server name. I know I am probably just missing something very small somewhere.

Have you configured the FE to use basic authentication?
