The log states that the request was rejected because "Blocked by the HTTP security fileter: the response content is encoded and cannnot be scanned".

This happened with the following URL http://ftp.teledanmark.no/pub/www/proxy/squidGuard/contrib/blacklists.tar.gz

Now, I guess that it is saying that it does not understand how to unpack tar.gz files so it denied the content by default. I need it to allow this content. Where/How would I do that?

Hi Roy,

You could configure the site for direct access, or you could configure the HTTP Security Filter to unbind from the HTTP protocol, or many other options. Check the book as we cover these issues.

In our case this patch helped to resolve this issue on ISA 2004 with SP2:
