Hi all
a while back I setup http sigatuer filtering.
This worked fine ans still does.

As you know when http signature block a website will deisplay the 502 error page.
It does this fine as well.
My problem is I want to change this webpage to something more fitting to what it really means.
So I edited the 502 error page in prog files. I replaced this file with my own webpage and restarted the servers, nothing has changed.
To test this I changed the webpage back and added a url redirect, this worked fine in redirecting but it still took 5sec to redirect even tho I set the timer to 0.
Can anyone shed any light on this?

Is the browser generating the error page?

Nope, it displays the error page 502 straight away, doesnt wait to time out or anything. Its the standard brown orange error message that you get with ISA.

Like I say I've edited the error page before but it doesnt do much, the only thing I've had working is getting it to redirect (via the webcoding of the 502 error page, not the firewall settings) but this did it after 5 seconds.
I even removed all coding text from the page and it still showed the 502 error page.

Unless the browser is caching it, but I dont think it is.
I'll check that tomorrow to make sure. But even so it has been a week so the cache should of been refreshed by now.

:( :P

Good idea regarding the browser cache. You might want to manually clear that out. Might be in the ISA Firewall's Web cache (don't know why it would be, but might be worth a look using the cachedir.exe app).
