Now i want to restricted 20 persons from internet & all messengers just to allow them few sites like gmail, yahoomail, hotmail and few news sites to access. And other 20 person will use internet but I want to restrict them from chatting, Google earth & need to block few port for p2p software’s .also if possible i want to stop them from heavy downloading.

I am using 2006 & my question was that I want to give limited sites access to users. I cannot block all sites one by one. Just I want to make a rule and allow few limited sites to open including block all messenger. And I want to allow all kind of updates (windows, Antivirus) automatically. Kindly help me out to make a rule which fulfill my all requirements.

Hi, By Default ISA blocks all traffic that goes thru it, except what is allowed in the System Policy. lets start with the limited url issue. in the previous links, i showed to you how to block sites ! all u need to do, is to change the rule from Deny to allow ! in this way, you are allowing limited Domains to your users. just make sure that u remove the rule u have previously created that allows all protocols from internal to external.
