Do any special protocol rules need to be set up to allow external clients on the internet to connect to the h323 gatekeeper??
i.e do any special incoming ports need to be open??
Cheers
Justin

Hi Justin,

When the gatekeeper is installed, a packet filter is automatically opened to support incoming calls to the gatekeeper service.

Tom

Dr. Schinder,

Do the remote clients need to be registered with the gatekeeper in order to make calls to the internal network?

Hi Denton,

The external clients don't register with the Gatekeeper. They need to be configured to use the external interface of the ISA Server as their gateway.

HTH,
Tom
