Hi,

Bear with me as im new to ISA, but here goes.....We have a MOSS 2007 site behind ISA 2006. We'd like to allow anonymous access to the root and one of the subsites. The other subsites we'd like it to be AD Authentication using forms.

I have it working fine whereby credentials are required to access the site, but we'd like the root (homepage) to be avaiable for anyone to see, but subsites off that are then secure requiring form authentication via ISA.

The root site and the subsite are set to anonymous within Sharepoint.

Can this be done?

Thanks,

Matt.

Create two publishing rules in the same order as mentioned below

Rule 1: SharePoint publishing rule -> Publish specific Directory in the paths (Default is Root) -> Use the web listener -> Enable "Single Sign on" on the web listener

Rule 2: SharePoint publishing Rule -> Publish the Root Directory -> use the same web listener used in the rule 1

Hopefully that should do..

Thanks,

Your solution works as in the two subsites that we want people to login to view is working.....but the homepage (root) and another subsite are still asking for authentication - we now just need these to be viewed anonymously

Seems i dint read what i wrote earlier...sorry

rewriting steps

Create Following publishing rules in the same order as mentioned below

Rule 1: SharePoint publishing rule -> Publish specific Directory in the paths (Default is Root) -> Use the web listener -> Enable "Single Sign on" on the web listener -> Use Authentication

Rule 2: SharePoint publishing Rule -> Publish the Subsite for anonymous access -> use the same web listener used in the rule 1 -> Under the rule properties, under Users tab, remove "All Authenticated Users" and Add "All Users"

Rule 3: SharePoint publishing Rule -> Publish the Root directory using "/*" -> use the same web listener used in the rule 1 -> Under the rule properties, under Users tab, remove "All Authenticated Users" and Add "All Users"

"All users" option in the rule properties bypasses the authentication required on the web listener...

Hope this helps

No ssl

I need to publish just one calendar anonymously through TMG.
I can access this calendar anonymously internally.
But when I try to access from external TMG is bloking connection.
