Hi,

I have ISA Server 2004 running environment and im trying to get an application to work. When I run the application with the Firewall Client disable it works but when I have the Firewall Client enable it doesnt work. This application go out to the internet.

Then add an entry if need be in FWC and disable it for that application.

You can find it in the MMC under Configuration > General > Define Firewall Client Settings > Application Settings.

I added the application to the FWC and on disable  I selected 1. When I try to run the application from the computer it still dont work. Do you have any other ideas?

How did you determine what name to use for the application?
Did you wait for the client to refresh from the server?

I did wait for the computer to refresh from the server.

I add the name of the application exe but wihout the .exe

Look in Task Manager to see what application name it is using and try that.

I checked the task manager and it have the same name that the one im adding to the rule. But still not work. ;(

I am curious what you get in the live logging for this app if you show the "Client Agent" column?

I tried the FWCTool from the computer that have the application and when I disabled the application it works with the FWCTool but once I restarted I couldnt use the application again without doing the FWCTool again. What should I do. Do i have to run the FWCTool everytime?

FWCTool is a Swiss Army knife with many tools.  I wanted you to use it to get the printserverconfig report, not to disable FWC.

I didnt disable the FWC, I just disabled the application. Its there any way I can do it from the server.

Why would that be?
I don't know if it depends on WPAD/WSPAD working.  Have you tested those?
