trying to configure VPN access on ISA 2006 enterprise. 2 servers in the array, will not allow me to use DHCP (bummer), so I have to assign static addresses. When I
select "configure addres assignment method" and enter the static IP addresses I have reserved for this, I get this error. "The Internal network includes IP addresses in the range 129.56.171.243-129.56.171.244. Networks cannot contain IP address ranges that overlap another network."

Is there a tech articile on how to configure static addresses for VPN access?

Hi,

make sure that you exclude this range 129.56.171.243-129.56.171.244 from your Internal Network Range , ( Network > Intenal Network Properties )

We are also publishing all of our Exchange data to the web, EAS, OWA, etc, and since I do not have a default gateway assigned to the internal NIC, I have to manually enter all the static routes that point to all our internal subnets. If I remove that static route, it will break EAS, OWA and RPC/HTTPS.

Ideas?

Also, is there a Tom Shinder article that explains step by step on how setup vpn using static IPs? I have the ISA2006 book by MS, but it only goes into using DHCP.
