Hi everyone, I have a problem that no one on the forums seem to have, perhaps the opposite. Current setup: Two ISA 2006, NLB, members of a Domain. Group in AD called "allow internet access global" Problem: Client authentication process The following steps outline how a client is authenticated using Integrated Windows authentication: - Depending on browser configuration, authentication may not initially prompt for a user name and password. The current Windows user information on the client computer is used for authentication.
- If the authentication exchange initially fails to identify the user, the browser prompts the user for a Windows account user name and password, which it processes using Integrated Windows authentication.
- The Web browser continues to prompt the user until the user either enters a valid user name and password or closes the prompt dialog box.
#2 is failing to happen now. What changed you ask... well alot. My company was divested, and purchased by another company. The only thing I did on ISA was remove the routes (windows) to the old company, remove same ip ranges (in isa), and remove reference to the old DC's. Question: Was something unchecked? What is the mechanism that provides that challenge. I tested with Explorer, and that works. I can give more info if needed. Everything else works fine. Nothing else was changed on my isa configuration. Thanks! Dave
