I have ISA 2006 set up as a domain server. It has two NICs one with our external address and one with an internal address of 192.168.1.11. I am able to connect via VPN to my domain, but have problems authenticating to some server shares.

When establishing the VPN the client is given an address in the 192.168.1.0 subnet and can connect to any share within that subnet/location. The problem happens when trying to connect to shares in our remote subnet/location 192,168.101.0 (same domain). The two sites are connected via a hardware static VPN.

When connected I am able to ping the remote servers, I am able to connect to intranet websites, and I am able to use remote desktop. The only thing which I have found so far which I can't do is connect to shared folders. When attempting to do so I am prompted for credentials and when those credentials are entered they fail.

Internal clients can of course connect to all shares in both subnets.

Oops I realize now this should have been in the ISA 2006 forum. Shall I move it or will an admin do so?

Just an update. The client machine is windows XP. I'm not able to map any drives at all with Vista (though I can connect and use remote desktop, ping, etc).
