I have no idea why this doesn't work? ISA Server 2006 is setup and running, and set to not require Authentication, and to support Autodiscovery of the Proxy Server... If I go to a client, could be any client, and let the Internet Explorer v7 Automatically Detect the settings for the Proxy Server... I can get to WEB pages without any issues. I cannot get to HTTPS pages... Now, if I change Internet Explorer v7 so that I point to my ISA 2006 Server Directly telling it to use the same Proxy Server for ALL Protocals ... I can get to WEB pages without any issues. I can get to HTTPS pages without any issues. My questions are: 1 - It would seem to me that pointing directly to it, and letting it Automatically find it, should yeild the sames results? 2 - In my configuration I DO NOT HAVE SSL defined in the WEB Proxy page. My thought was if it is undefined it will tunnel through HTTP. Pointing to the ISA 2006 Server directly seems to validate this though at I can get through to HTTPS connection. Is it possible though, that pointing to the ISA 2006 Server directly, and telling it to use the Proxy for ALL Protocals is handled differently than then when Internet Explorer v7 Automatically Detects the Proxy Server? Is there a way to change this behavior, if this is the case, or to determine if the behavior is setting different parameters? It is not a huge problem, but I didn't want to have to load SSL Certificates, and wanted Internet Explorer and the ISA 2006 Server to just figure things out by thems Automatically...

Hi Jim, What happens if you use an automatic configuration script? http://server.domain.com:8080/array.dll?Get.Routing.Script Remember you need to configure the port on the Web Proxy Tab of the internal Network. Regards,
