I would like to backup the Firewall log files from our ISA 2006 installation (for auditing purposes), however, these logs are stored in the MSDE on the same machine.  Since MSDE has a lock on these files, its not possible to back them up without using some scripts with OSQL (backing them up like a regular SQL Server database)

I was thinking of writing a script and running it on a schedule to backup the log files, but since a new database file/log is started every day, the filenames I need to backup are constantly changing. I can make the script dynamic enough to handle this daily.

My real question is:

Is there an easier way to backup the logs in the MSDE , or rather a 'Best Practice'? I'd like to be able to automate the process if possible.
