I have just got my Standalone ISA2K Server (Cache) up and running on a test network. The proxy client part is a bit confusing to me. Here are my views:
1. When I set the client up manually with the ISA server DNS name or IP and pull the network cable out of the ISA server the client doesn't know what to do. Is this suppost to happen? The reason I am trying this is because I want to be prepared if the ISA Server crashes.
2. When I set it up using the script it works fine when I pull the network cable. But what I have read on this forum people have had problems using this script. If thr script it the best answer for me is there a easy way to deploy it automatically?
3. I have not tried this one. I believe that you have to set it up in your DNS Server for this to work?

Also is there a way to cache .exe and .zip files?
Any comments would be great.

Thanks in advance,

Tony
