Is there a way to see what and if your caching is working?

Hi Dan,

You can use the ISA counters in Performance Monitor. They give you a lot of information about ISA firewall and caching performance.

Tom

Thanks!
Tom

Dear Prof.Shinder ,
I checked that , Cache drive is OK also it seems that caching are enable and active because of several faaster access to visited web sites , but Cache Retrieve KB is still zero .

Hi Kambizz,

How about cache size? There are many ISA Cache counters, try adding all the cache and Web proxy counters and you will see.

HTH,
Tom

I had same problem - cache drive setup but no caching occurring. No cache file created on drive and performance counters all at zero. But web proxy connection working ok. I realised that I had not re-booted since installing - re-booted and cache started to work, cache file appeared on drive !
