Hi everyone,

Have anyone notice when you change the Cache Properties in the "To" tab to Requests appear to come from the original client it breaks and when you change it back to Requests appear to come from the firewall it works ok.

I get the following message when it happens:

404 Not Found - The requested item could not be located. (12028)
Internet Security and Acceleration Server

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,

Jon

Hi Jon,

I don't see where this is an option in the caching Properties dialog box.

Thanks!
Tom

Hi Tom,

Sorry about that, let me clarify this. It's actually the proxy setting. I created a rule to publish a public website for caching purposes.

In "Firewall Policy", right-click on the rule->"Properties". Under the "To" tab, the "Proxy requests to published server" setting. When I change it to "Requests appear to come from the original client" I can no longer reach the website I published.

Thanks,

Jon

Hi Jon,

Make sure the Web server is configured as a SecureNAT client.

HTH,
Tom

Hey Tom,

Sorry for the late reply, been busy. Also, is it differnt to setup reverse caching? We're trying to cache our own web content for end users.

Can you point me to the right direction on how to configure a web server as SecureNAT client?

Thanks,

Jon

Hi Jon,

A SecureNAT client is just a machine configured to route Internet bound requests through the ISA firewall.

Tom
