Hi guys,

I'm currently practicing with ISA 2006 in a Virtual Server environment. My ISA 2006 server is acting as an Edge Firewall with two network cards, one to the intranet and one to the internet.

My domain controller is hosting DNS, DHCP, and AD.

The problem I'm running into is I can't login to the computers on the domain using a normal domain user account. The only account I have been able to successfully log in under is the Administrator. Whenever I try to login as a domain user the box sits gray for a bit then sits at Loading Personal Settings forever. I didn't have this problem before installing ISA 2006.

The only error I see in the event log on the desktop is "svchost.exe failed to authenticate with the ISA server." Has anyone run into this before? It's driving me nuts.

Why would the clients have to interact with the ISA Firewall to contact the domain controller for log on?
