I have a very strange problem. I have a website that is published with a public name of www.xyzcompany.com. On the inside, the private name is servername/app_name. I have a rule setup so that external path requests for /* forward to an Internal Path of /app_name/*. When I request www.xyzcompany.com this works properly. If I request www.xyzcompany.com/admin/ with the trailing slash, this works properly as well. When I request www.xyzcompany.com/admin WITHOUT the trailing slash, however, I see www.xyzcompany.com/app%5Fname/admin appear in the address bar, and, of course, I get a 404. It looks like the courtesy redirect for the trailing slash is failing because of something to do with the underscore character. I've tried changing my mapping to be an external path request of /* with an Internal Path of /app%5Fname/* to avoid the rewrite, but then ISA appears to be rewriting the % character as %25, so I wind up with /app%255Fname/* and then NOTHING works. Does anyone have any idea how to handle this? It works fine if the virtual directory doesn't have any characters that get rewritten in it. Regards, Christopher
