Does anyone know whether this is possible now. I don't want to use Basic authentication, but under ISA 2000 this meant I had to use NTLM authentication which didn't work with any browser other than IE.
I'd like to move to opera & netscape instead of IE, both for testing our intranet for external access, and because I'm frequently running out of resources and want to see if opera is any more efficient than IE.
I notice that MS now state that ISA2k4 supports CERN compatible applications. Can anyone let me know exactly what this means, or has anyone successfully used Opera with 2k4?

Hi,
Thanks, but I should have mentioned that we enforce user authentication since we filter user access to the internet.
All of our users have to use ISA as a proxy server, and have to authenticate to gain access to the internet.

Hi Myx,
What type of authentication would you like to use?
Thanks! Tom

you can use kerberos.
I tested it once. Because i have got samba 3 intergrated into ad. Windows 2000 and WIndows 2003.
Its quite easy to do that.
So you need to have a user in AD and on the Linux/Unix server/desktop, which is intergrated into AD.
The login with that account and try wget ftp://ftp.example.com/testfile
If you have questions about configuring kerberos, samba etc. Give a shout and i will help you.
Good luck.
Regards,
Rob
