thanks ur answer, pls don't think a about first and third rules ok, actually my pc is installed the firewall client ok, i was checked the my IE version 6.0.3790.0 my other client is using windows 2000 professional it's configure as a web proxy cleint, there IE version is 6.0.2800.1106 i was followed below informaion Hi Al, check out section '4.4. Web Proxy client' in my article! Assuming that IE is configured as a Web Proxy client *and* that the Firewall client is installed too: 1. If the IE setting Enable folder view for FTP sites is not checked, then the FTP request is sent by IE as a Web Proxy client request, in other words as FTP over HTTP. 2. If the IE setting Enable folder view for FTP sites is checked, then the FTP request is sent by IE as a Firewall client request. HTH, Stefaan acouding to that informaion i was change my client IE settings it's again the same answer. i change my pc ie seetings if i remove the enable folder view tick mark i cannot connect ftp site. my clent and my machine diffrent is IE version. pls tell me why is that
