I am trying to access a Terminal Server internally through a VPN connection.

(STD CLIENT -- ISA 2K6 --- SECURE SERVER)
====== demand dialed VPN tunnel ===========

I have set up my rulebase as follows:

1 Allow DHCP / DNS / kerberos / LDAP / NETBIOS / RPC from any to any
2 Allow CIFS / NETBIOS / PING / RDP / RPC from VPN CLient to Secure Server

If I connect the VPN I can ping the secure server and access via UNC but I cannot use RDP. If I assign an open rule then it works fine. Is there something I am missing? NOTE - I am NOT trying to RDP directly into the ISA box.

Should be enough to set the RDP protocol (tcp 3389). ave you tried checking the monitor to see wich rule is blocking your access???

I have tried the RDP rule without the VPN tunnel and it works fine. As soon as I add the VPN tunnel as the source I dont get any RDP. (I can get CIFS through the tunnel though.) Please can someone advise?
