Hello,

I'm trying to setup a SQL connection through isa 2000 on a sbs2000 server

I used the setting that microsoft is suggesting in their article

http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=299673

Regretfully this isn't working,  I get the message the server doesn't exist or I may not connect to the database

I can ping the ip adress where the sql database is located ( external and not internal in the network )

The server where isa 2000 is located has 2 network cards

1 network card is connected to a router and has the router address as the default gateway , the other network card is connected to the internal network and has no default gateway.

When I connect a pc or laptop to the router and try to connect to the database it works fine ,so there goes something wrong in the configuration of the isa server.

Does anyone know a solution to this problem?

Kind Regards,

Jos Nannes
