Ok, first post so go easy peeps :) I realise there is a game section on these boards, but it seems that people hardly post in there so figured I'd be more likely to get a response here: I have ISA Server 2004 installed on a member server in my domain, it's dual homed with 2 Network cards. Now, I have a couple of server publishing rules in place for various services on my network (e.g. SMTP for Exchange and also web servers etc) - These rules work just fine. I have a gaming rig on my internal lan and want to be able to play Medal of Honour etc by setting up a server on my side. This is something I've done numerous times in the past and is easy to setup (prior to getting ISA). However, I've setup a publishing rule to forward necessary ports to my gaming rig IP, but my friends can't connect to it. I've ran the monitoring/logging and can 'see' the connection being attempted on the port, but it simply says 'connection initiated'' and then seconds later 'connection terminated'. The necessary ports required for opening can be found on this page: http://www.tmmworld.com/Default.aspx?tabid=56 This is how the rule is configured: Actions to take: Allow Pri Connections: 12201 - 12210 (UDP Receive Send) / Port: 12300 (UDP Receive Send) Sec Connections: Nothing entered in here From: External. Also tried 'Anywhere' To: my gaming rig IP Networks / Listener: ISA External NIC IP For the life of me, I cannot understand why this is not working....unless there is something so obvious that I haven't thought of. Maybe other things like 'ping' needs to be enabled to the gaming pc? If anyone could help, I'd be very greatful. If not, could you kind peeps point me in the right direction? Thanks a tonne ras NB: I have no other firewalls in place (Windows Firewall was disabled on both mine/friends side when testing) EDIT: I've installed the Firewall Client to the gaming rig, but have not yet configured ports etc from the ISA Server. Will do this and reply with results!
