Hi!

For some unknown reason, I cannot ping out from ISA's external NIC, althought I can still reach the internet. Nslookup indicates that my internal DNS is resolving external addresses, which is interesting as it is configured to forward to my ISP. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated

"Ping out" meaning you are logged into/on the ISA machine itself and ping an external DNS name (eg: www.google.com) and whilst it may resolve the IP address it doesn't get a response?
This would indeed be unusual, unless you've created some form of rule for this behaviour because it should still send out the ICMP packets "out of the box". Additionally, the ISA server will NOT respond to ping requests to internet connected machines by default... although you can create a rule to allow ICMP responses. I tend to create custom rules allowing ICMP responses from a certain client address set of IP addresses being external routers etc so I can test for machine uptime/connectivity etc from external hosts.
