We have ISA Server 2004 EE + SP2 in Single Network Adapter Mode

I am trying to push out the Symantec Endpoint 11.0 updates to the ISA server but it keeps blocking this.

The updates are pushed out from a central Symantec Enpoint Management server.

I know that the updates use http & ftp, however the ISA server is not acting as a firewall but purely as a proxy server.

We are not trying to update all clients/servers updates via the ISA these come directly from the the SEPM.

I am simply trying to update the local defs on the ISA server itself.

Can someone point me in the right direction please ?

ISA protect itself no matter what template you´re using.
So, you have to create access rule allowing this traffic.
