I have published OWA SSL. In this way, if I setup any public secure website on Windows server 2003, I do not need to get a third party certificate from a company like Verisign, don't I? The other question is that if I host 2 public websites on IIS 6, can I setup SSL on both of them or just one? Can I setup OWA SSL and Website SSL on the same machine? Thanks.

Ian

Hi Ian,

Commercial certs are not required, but users who don't have your root CA cert installed will see a dialog box informing them that they do not trust your site.

If the FQDN for the sites are the same, then a single cert and listener are all you need, or you can use a wildcard certificate, as covered in the article on this site.

HTH,
Tom
