Hallo,

IÆm trying to change the log location to another partition on my isa server.

When I apply the change I get:

ôMicrosoft Firewall encountered a failure. The failure occurred during Reading logging configuration because the configuration property msFPCLogFileDirectory of key SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Fpc\Storage\Array-Root\Arrays\{8A60FF66-2263-4299-AF4E-7A74EB92C8D6}\Logs\Proxy-WSP is not valid. Use the source location 5.798.4.0.2161.50 to report the failure. For more information about this event, see ISA Server Help. The error description is: The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect.ö

The registry key has a valid path and the file system is NTFS.

I gave ôNETWORK SERVICEö full access to the folder to see if it was the same problem as with the Proxy cash, but it didnÆt help.

I use File as log storage format / W3C extended log file format.

Anyone got an idea?

Hi,

I am having the same problem on my ISA 2004 installation. - Did you manage to get a solution?

Would be interested to hear how you got around it.
