Used the extensive documentation to set up (all using ISA) Exchange 2000 SMTP, DNS and OWA (using web publishing) - and it all works GREAT!
Now I have a requirement to get the Change Password option working on Outlook Web Access. To get this working, I read that I have to create a virtual directory called IISADMPWD (pointing to the relevant directory) on my front-end server (the one hosting OWA - note this on a different box than my Exchange server). I also added this directory to the destination set in ISA that handles the OWA web publishing rule...
However, I am still getting the following error in the pop-up dialog box when I click on the CHANGE PASSWORD button in OWA: 403 Forbidden - The server denies the specified Uniform Resource Locator (URL).
FYI: If I access OWA using my internal DNS name, it works just fine, so I'm pretty sure the problem is with ISA. (BTW: All my servers are using Win2K server)
Documentation on this if virtually non existant! Anyone manage to get this working - or have any suggestions?!?

Have you configured your OWA site to use SSL? If I'm not mistaken the I believe that the Change Password feature only works with SSL.

Yes, it uses complete end to end SSL (Client to ISA to EXCHANG server)

In addition to adding /iisadmpwd* to the destination set, I also added /_AuthchangeUrl*
Also, if you installed URLScan (part of the ISA feature pack) you'll want to look at those logs also to make certain that you aren't having problems due to that. If you are using allow verbs you need to make sure that htr is part of the allowed group. There is a document out there on using Urlscan on your owa server but still allowing you to change password. I did find that helpful.

I'm not running URLSCAN (yet), but your message did get me thinking.... and HEY, I found the problem. I was missing the * in /IISADMPWD* in my destination set.
Thx for the reply!
