Hi Guys,

I don't actually use ISA just the normal Routing/NAT service in windows 2003 but i think you guys might be able to help.

My server has multiple external IPs and by default the lowest value IP gets NATed (even thought it is not the Primary IP of the server ).

The IP got blocked on one site and i need to assign another IP to be the External NATed IP. But there is no option to choose it. It just goes with the lowest one assigned to the server.

Any ideas how i can select the ip myself?

Hi Banaman,

with ISA server it's always the primary IP address assigned to the outgoing interface which is used as source for the outbound traffic when a NAT relationship applies.

Thanks, it seems to be different than the standard Routing/Nat that comes with Windows, that uses the lowest value ip.

Anyway i found a way around it by Reserving the blocked IP, so the next one up is now being used as outgoing ip. Solves my problem.
