I am trying to connect to an external network at another company using their cisco client from within our network via our ISA 2004 . I can connect and logon on ok. But i cannot reach any of ip addresses ( ping, pcanywhere etc fail)

The cisco client indicates the IP address assigned by thier system (64.xxx.xxx.xxx) Our internal ip addresses are 192.186.xxx.xxx

Any suggestions on resolving this issue?

Hi Tony,

What NAT-T hack are they using? IETF or proprietary?

Thanks!
Tom

Hi Tony,

I didn't try it through an ISA 2004 yet, but I expect you should use the equivalent rules as with ISA 2000. Therefore check out my article http://www.isaserver.org/articles/IPSec_Passthrough.html and some troubleshooting tips at http://forums.isaserver.org/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=13;t=001993 .

HTH,
Stefaan

Hi Stefaan,

It should work the same with ISA 2004.

Thanks!
