Hey guys,

Just thought I would throw one out there that has been driving me nuts.  I'm not a newbie to ISA and actually have worked with the product since MSProxy days.

I have a my internal PC's setup as SecureNAT clients on my network.  I have serveral PC's (technician machines) that use Reservations on DHCP to assign IP addresses to them.  These PC's in turn have FULL access to the Internet with a Rule on the ISA 2006 server.  EVERYTHING works great.....any protocol at all, for these machines.

When I try to connect to a remote PPTP machine from behind the ISA Server, it fails.  The good old Error 619.  If I bypass the ISA and directly connect the same PC to the internet, it works just fine.

ISA Monitoring shows that the rule is letting the traffic pass.  No matter what I have done to the ISA box, I am having no luck.  VPN pass-through should be taking care of this, but it looks like something is getting changed in translation causing the remote box to disconnect suddenly.

Does any have any ideas on what to check?

Thanks in advance.....

I am having the same excat issue. I have a back to back configuration. When I put an IP address in front of the ISA I can VPN out.

Same here. Trying to connect to a Fortigate60 through an ISA2006 box. Not many rules, I allow all out from my workstation but am still getting the dreaded 619 error. The 1723 port is closed when I check the logs.
