Clients---just don't get it

Status: offline 		My clients are setup as follows:

WPAD via DHCP option 252 as all of the workstations have the ISA Client installed via GPO.

Auto config via the firewall option in 2004 that tells it to run the default script.

Securenat via gateway set by DHCP. (this actually points to an internal router that redirects traffic to the ISA as necessary.

I do not require authent for internet access.

Soooo, when I watch the ISa server connections I see some firewall client connections, some secureNAT (not the servers...which are securenat but workstations), and even some proxy .

So, what gives?

have you checked if your clients run the firewall client ? And didnt' disable it ? [Smile]

Remember that if you use DHCP for wpad, only users who log on as an administrator will receive the info.
