Hello Everyone,

We are having a problem with some of our clients not being able to connect to the ISA server. Frankly I'm not sure if the ISA server is the problem or not. Let me explain........

We have this one building that seems to be intermittanly losing connection to the ISA server and only the ISA server hence losing INTERNET connection. This happens with every computer in the building.

When the computer is woking as per normal I am able to ping all servers and ws on the network however when I lose Internet connection on the workstation I am able to ping everything BUT the ISA server. We have replaced the CISCO switch in the building with a brand new one. We have confirmed the link from the building to our main comms is fine. The connection just seems to come back up on its own! down times seem to vary from minutes to hours.

We have been banging our heads on the wall over this and can't come up with anything that would explain what is happening.

When the ws will not connect to the ISA and you open the IE browser the bottom status bar just says trying to connect to 10.2.0.1 (the ISA server).

Please if anyone out there has any ideas or suggestions please let me know

Thanks so much
