I have the Compaq server that comes prebuilt with ISA server 2004 and was able to get it up and running right away. The clients at my main branch can connect withouth any problems. However, my clients ant my remote branches are unable to connect. We are all conncted using Frame relay and the main branch Ip's are 192.168.1.x The ip's at my remote branches are 192.168.2.x 192.168.3.x and so forth. On the internal network of the internal nic of the isa server I added those ip addresses ad was still unable to conncts from any of the remote sites. Does anyone know how to resolve this issue or at leat guide me in the right direction. by the way Dr. Tom, great book.

I do have the same problem. But I got the correct routes to these remote sites, using Routing and Remote Access, still the remote sites can't connect. Should there be any protocols that I should allow on the firewall so that my routing tables will get updated?

When you say "can't connect" do you mean

a) they cannot get a connection to the VPN at all
b) or they can connect but not PING

You cant ping and you can't connect. Thanks anyway, I have it working now. What I did was, I add the routes on the RRAS (which originally, I think RRAS alone would solve it), and add the subnets on the Internal Network on the "Networks Tab" of ISA. Originally, only the internal network from which the ISA server belong is added to this interface.
